Grab the headlines on ‘Pak Headlines’
Here comes the long due review of the website "PakHeadlines" which was launched by Em and his groupie around a month or so ago. According to the duo:
" We fetch news from popular news sources around Pakistan and provide the headlines on just one single page! Yes, users do not have to browse the site any further as we display all headlines in our reader.
Mobile users can view latest news from our WAP website> wap.pakheadlines.com
We’ve launched PakHeadlines as beta and we’re still struggling to improve it further. If you’ve got any comments or suggestions, feel free to drop us a note at: info@pakheadlines.com"
My suggestions to the PakHeadlines guys would be:
1. Improve the lay out a little..having a look at Alltop sites may give you some ideas as to how to organize and display the headlines in a more user friendly manner.
2. Give multiple for eg. one where users can view all the top headlines together and the other where they can view headlines category wise.
3. Use m.headlines.com instead of wap.pakheadlines.com so that mobile users have to type less.
4. Create the "Contact-Us" page where user can perhaps fill a simple form to contact you rather than just providing a link which opens ur default email program…ppl like me might not like it much
I actually got irritated by it and so rather than contacting you through email, posted a comment on the PakHeadlines blog.
I hope people like this idea..comes in handy for those who might want to skim through the top stories without opening multiple news sites. All the best guys!

Hey, thanks for the review! And yea - we’ve noted down the suggestions and hope to implement them in the next release InshAllah.

Wow, that looks like something similar to what TeaBreak is doing for blogs.
Its a great initiative! I’m one of those who’d be thankful to get all reviews in one place because I’m tired of surfing sites again and again to see if anything new is happening.
