Cosme’ceutique-pick the color! :)

In my previous post I talked about having a version of photoshop which we can use to edit our pimpled and wrinkled faces making them flawless. That sadly isn’t possible in real life but I have found something that can serve as a decent alternative to it :)

If anyone of you actually noticed, the color pallet in my last post shows the different colors from Cosme’ceutique’s range of Cosme’ceuticals :) Cosme’ceutique is a BIOVISTA division and the first "revolutionary brand of Cosme’ceuticals" in Pakistan.

With the kind of acne prone skin that I have, I’m usually afraid of trying out new facial products. The word cosmetics is usually missing from my dictionary because Clearsil’s face wash and Himalaya’s Neem pack are the only two products that have done some good to my skin in my entire life spanned over almost quater century :) So, when I was offered to try out any of the Cosme’ceuticals, I at first felt a little reluctant but just when I read about what Cosme’ceuticals are I decided to accept the offer and see what good can they do to my skin.

Cosme’ceuticals according to the Cosme’ceutique team are  "… ingredients with medicinal properties"and not only that they are said to bring "….the combined benefits of pure, high-quality natural ingredients and scientific research in products of exceptional quality…" (Read More about them here) Since the facial products that I use regularly and have mentioned above also roughly follow the same combination (Clearsil has somewhat medicinal properties and Neem pack’s herbal) so, I expected Cosme’ceuticals to be nice to my skin too and man’o'man they actually have been really really nice to my skin Alhamdulilah :)

I started using their Pimple Scars and Sebum Control cremes around 3 weeks ago. Pimple Scars creme as it claims to make your skin "Smooth & Spotless" really does make your skin smoother and clear rubbing away the ugly acne and pimple scars. I have felt visible improvement in my skin texture since I’ve started using this product and when at my graduation ceremony my friends asked me "How come your skin has become so clear MashAllah?". I said, the reason is right in front of you because Biovista was there at my Convocation to award some corporate gold medals :D

I haven’t yet started using the Sebum Control creme regularly but whatever number of times I have used it, it hasn’t disappointed me. It indeed seem to absorb excess oil making your skin glow and look clean too :)

Now since after quite long any Pakistani product has done really good to my skin so, I decided to blog about it too being part of the Cosme’ceutique Blogger Buzz Campaign :) . What further motivated me to write about cosme’ceuticals is that not even once I have been asked by the Cosme’ceutique team to give them some good reviews. All they have asked for was a review and since it was to come after my trying out their products so, it could have been bad too depending upon my experience. Asking bloggers to write about your product actually is sincerity and faith in the quality of your brand because bloggers are notorious for being more active in mentioning the bad points then the good points(i hope you all remember the Faysal Bank story :P ) Moreover, after using Cosme’ceuticals many of us might actually become Cosme’ceutique’s regular customers so, that way even if anytime in future they seem to compromise on quality, we’ll be the first one to write against them. So, the point is, if they have still asked us to write about them, it’s their honestly which has probably made them do so and also it somewhat proves that they make good products.

They did not choose to market their products withs ads claiming "15 minute main gorri gorri" which in my sight is criminal because nothing in the world can make you fair and pretty in mere 15 mins; but they instead asked common people to publicize their brand. Another thing that I like about Cosme’ceutique is that, they believe not just in making products that can help people get rid of their skin problems but they also educate people telling them what causes different skin problems in the first place. I have received a "Skincare Guide" with my  creme tubes :) Another nice booklet was about the "Product’s Formulation and Scientific Rationale" for different cosme’ceuticals.

They also provide free expert advice by Dr. Najia Ashraf here. Haven’t yet tried it myself but saw it on their website so decided to share :) because you might want to check with the expert first before using any cosme’ceutical.

The only thing that’s worrying me a little is about the prices of Cosme’ceuticals. I’m miser you see :P but it’s also said that good things don’t come cheap :) . I was just wondering if their current prices are going to remain so or are they just introductory prices and might get increased once the brand gets established here. May be somebody from the Cosme’ceutique team can throw some light?

But despite a little high prices, I’d recommend you to pick your color and try any of the cosme’ceuticals out (the one that’s most appropriate for you) and share your experience with others :) .

All the best to both the Cosme’ceutique customers as well as the Cosmeceutique team which deserves a **thumbs up** too :) because there is still one more thing about them that has made me really really glad. Their attitude towards Corporate Social Responsiblity. Check out yourself what they have done, here.

Disclaimer: I havn’t been given any cash amount to write this review. All I have got is a pack containing two cosme’ceuticals, three booklets about them and an offer to be part of the Blogger Buzz Campaign. The views expressed above are based upon my honest opinion :)

  3. I never really thought much about skin care. I probably should.

That color pallet includes blue and green. I always thought having your face turn blue or green was a bad sign? :)

Waqas..it’s at times good to not care about skin then apply low quality products to it in the name of caring about it :) I don’t use makeup items other than lipstick because the rest have this tendency of playing havoc with my skin.

Lolz at you matching pallet colors with those of face…he he….cosme’ceuticals se jaundice nahi hota so don’t worry :P

  11. Sounds great! @ Prices: since i have the same skin as you described yours to be; we of such skins know: a 1000 Rs cream is nothing compared to the peace of mind it gives you. Clearsil waghera kaunsay sastay hain. Even if you get a Neutrogena Toner, its gonna set you back a good 400 Rs.

So, its really good then, is it? Hmm, ab tu try kerna hi paray gi!
