Equal Rights..hmmm!

I carried a few hours futile search for the video/image that showed Musharraf smoking a cigarette and firing a pistol. The video flashed through the TV channels when he sacked Nawaz Sharif out in 1999 and I got reminded of it when I saw the following image in the newspapers today :)

 Women have got equal rights today :D …No? Mushy must be feeling proud about "Enlightened Moderation" now. :)

  1. No hapless pigeon or crow was brought down by the bibi, I hope. :D

    Even I enjoy discharging a fire-arm, but wouldn’t recommend needlessly harming any of God’s creatures. :)

  5. Enlightened Moderation was one of the strongest fraud of Mush’s govt which swindled many Pakistanis (thank God not me!) who, to date, think he was a good ruler…

  6. @AamirRaz

    There are many other things that make me think to date that he wasn’t good :P But see…this is a free world..we can all have our own opinion :)

  8. They should make a national song that goes like … HAM BOLAIN GOLION KI ZUBAAN (if you know what I mean). Its the only language we speak - ghunda-ghardi (in one form or another)

  9. Hey, great picture. Baree fit auntee hain!

    What you have with Google, this understanding, you cannot do a PhD in it, but I’ll be nice and tell you, (as someone told me three weeks ago) its called Google Fu!

    O Grand Google-fu Master, WHY were you searching Mush’s pics in the first place? So, early 2008! :D

    He he…ada you are not the only….most of us are on the verge of crossing the threshold and are about to develop “yawn so-what” attitude :) Things more than often go beyond our comprehension when it comes to politics.

    @Raza

    Ha ha..yes, I’m getting you :) and you’re so right. All we believe in today religiously is not the religion itself but ghunda-gardi and daadageeri ..sadly :(

    @Specs

    Welcome to my blog :) and thanks for sharing the term “Google-Fu” as Sakina’s telling me to do a Ph.D is the way of her accepting how good my google search is..oops..’am I blowing my own trumpet? :P

    Yaar, I was searching for that pic because this *set* aunty’s pic reminded me of it so thought it’d be good if i put the two pics together but didn’t find it so, instead put this one :S

    @Sana

    Welcome to my blog Sana :) It’s funny yet surprising to see how things have changed over the period of time.

  15. Agreeing with the yawn-so-what policy, it’s similar to wars… public suffers for administration’s poor judgment and inflated egos. Nothing bad becomes of themselves, they’re well behind the barracks.

    It’s a whole other play field, and it has nothing to do with public interest what so ever.
