How embarrassing!
Imagine ur brother…yes ur very own brother calling ur boss and here’s how the conversation goes like:
Bro: Is Fariha there?
Boss: Yes…she’s here
Bro: Tell her to throw her cellphone in the trash bin….it’s just not for people like her. I hav called her twice and she’s not answering…must be busy prating
Boss(Showing all his 32 teeth…oh btw I still have doubt…i guess he’s got 28 and not really 32)-Jee jee…she’s here..bethi batain karrahi thi
Bro: Iss ko tight rakho warna yeh tumhain barbaad kardegi.
Hain hain hain…tight rakho…what does bro mean by tight rakho and he who claims to have the intelligence to be more boss….huh…how could he be so stupid……he could have avoided telling bhai that I’m actually busy talking…..but nahi ..he din’t….instead came out of his room proudly planning about how would he "tight rakho" me….oh Mr…don’t u ever even think about tight rakho me…I’ll quit job, start my own venture and will acquire ur teeny weeny organization and will sack u out…got it!
And both u guys…2 Bs…bro and boss….u have broken my heart today…I thought I look good and sound good when I talk and I actually add to ur knowledge but ahhh..this conversation has really made me feel ashamed of myself…..from now on I’ll be mute…..so be ready for that! 
PS: Boss is a friend and hasn’t yet become my boss formally so I have the freedom to speak against him in public without any chances of being dooced 
LOL, that was nice. Your bro sounds like me! You should team up with my sister and fight men like me and your brother. You have plans for your boss [sacking, etc], what about your brother?

I am notorious for keeping my phone silent, and missing calls at times. But I was never is such an embarrassing situation.
You should show them that while you are such a sweet person (no harm in a little buttering
), you can play the “tight rakho” game too

I used to keep cello on vibration but ever since I hav got this new one….i just keep a low volume ringtone…yesterday it was in my purse and it got folded in my namaz ka duppatta so cudn’t hear it buzzing
Aray they very well know i can play the tight rakho game…they just try to act brave in front of each other

To bad the “Ammi se shikayat” thing doesn’t work for my sister. Ammi mujhe maarti hain to unke khud ke haath mein lag jaati hai. Chappal uthanay se pehle mein chappal pe paoon rakh kar khara ho jata hoon ya bhag jaata hoon. Ha ha ha!
