How Business is done!
Step I
Father: I want you to marry a girl of my choice
Son: "I will choose my own bride!"
Father: "But the girl is Bill Gate’s daughter."
Son: "Well, in that case…ok"
Next Father approaches Bill Gates.
Step II
Father: "I have a husband for your daughter."
Bill Gates: "But my daughter is too young to marry!"
Father: "But this young man is a vice-president of the World Bank.
Bill Gates: "Ah, in that case…ok"
Finally Father goes to see the president of the World Bank.
Final Step III
Father: "I have a young man to be recommended as a vice-president."
President: "But I already have more vice- presidents than I need!"
Father: "But this young man is Bill Gate’s son-in-law."
President: "Ah, in that case…ok"
This is how business is done!!

Worry not…it’s never too late…look for Sergey’s or Larry’s daughter but oh…they just got married last year so u probably will have to wait for good 19-20 yrs
and after that u can perhaps do something abt ur son

U should share them with us too
@Om
It actually happens this way…watch out for my post on SI Session 7 and u’ll see that businesses actually work this way..however…I’m getting this feeling that u r more interested in the story itself (read marrying Bill Gates’ daughter) and not really the moral of the story
Comment by Administrator — March 22, 2008 @ 10:47 pm
I was reminded of this post in the SI session.

What? You didn’t even NOTICE me??? I should be the one feeling angry!!! Poor moi feels so neglected :’(
Anyway, I was kind of in a dazed/confused mood, trying to appear invisible, so that may have been it

I ‘think’ I know who you were, though I’m not sure. I think I’ll read a book on conversation starters for next time.
Now, how do I get you to stop being angry?
