Joke of the day!

March 19, 2008 – 12:48 am

Hamad(my 6 year old li’l friend): Aunty, I’m going to ur place today with u

Aunty(i.e. moi): Theek hai :) (I said so since he lives in the same apartments where I live)

Hamad: I’m going to see your bedroom as well

Aunty: Ok :)

Hamad: Aunty aap k paas koi beta ya beti hai?

Aunty: Oops….he he he….NO emoticon

The only purpose of this cute little fella behind visiting my place was to get a new friend and he had assumed that since I’m an AUNTY so I probably have kids whom he would play with….Lolzz emoticon But as soon as he heard me saying No…he canceled his plan to come to my home…poor baby :P

How Business is done!

March 18, 2008 – 11:07 am

Step I
Father: I want you to marry a girl of my choice
Son: "I will choose my own bride!"
Father: "But the girl is Bill Gate’s daughter."
Son: "Well, in that case…ok"
Next Father approaches Bill Gates.

Step II
Father: "I have a husband for your daughter."
Bill Gates: "But my daughter is too young to marry!"
Father: "But this young man is a vice-president of the World Bank.
Bill Gates: "Ah, in that case…ok"
Finally Father goes to see the president of the World Bank.

Final Step III

Father: "I have a young man to be recommended as a vice-president."
President: "But I already have more vice- presidents than I need!"
Father: "But this young man is Bill Gate’s son-in-law."
President: "Ah, in that case…ok"

This is how business is done!!

I hate myself! :S

March 17, 2008 – 12:09 am

Why do I often develop so much attachment to people/places/things I spend even a few months with, that when it’s time to part away..I feel torn apart and end up having swollen eyes emoticon

I hate myself for this….

PS: Btw this morning I noticed my eyes had swollen a little but since they were not bruised so I can assure u nobody punched me……it’s because ahem ahem I weeped after regular intervals all day yesterday…why….details later emoticon

I’m missing cello :(

March 7, 2008 – 12:45 am

It was such a cutie…..i purchased it with my second internship stipend and got so much emotionally attached to it since then….but but…I lost it :( Now, I’m missing it…I’m missing my cello…for others it was a sasta sa cellphone (Motorolla C118) but for me it was more than even I-Phone (Umm..’am I exaggerating now? :P )

Actually, more than cello I’m worried abt 150+ contacts that were stored in it ….I hav lost them all :( Cello got misplaced yesterday…I remember it was in my hand when I sat in my car coming back to home from work but it was no longer with me when I reached home…..where have u gone cello???..u r not even in the car…please come back cello…plzzzzzz……else Ill divorce u and marry this new one that bhai considers to be a perfect match for her techie (read wannabe techie) sister :)

The good thing is that bhai’s paying for it and I’m gonna contribute just a very small amount :)

Update 1: I’m not buying 5310 now…..bhai’s mind has changed :(

Update 2: Yesterday, I observed 4 hours of silence in the loving memory of cello…..did not talk to anyone and slept from 8:00 in the evening to 12:00 midnight…got up at 12 just to have a glass of water and a cup of dhoodho…after all I’m a milkateer :P

Update 3: I have got a new cello :)Nokia 6600

Lady with an injured ghutna(knee)

March 3, 2008 – 11:07 pm

Meet me…the limping lady with an injured ghotna a.k.a knee. The credit for this injury goes to my champion bro who spilled water on the floor and did not bother to wipe it. When I came feeling proud about my choice of the airfreshener that I bought in the evening and said, "Hai airfreshener sutho aa ….Aaaaaaaa……dhush……" I was trying to say, "This airfreshener is good" but before I could complete my sentence I slipped hurting my ghotna badly :(   Ouch..it’s still hurting badly and with this fall, the backache which disappeared just a couple of days ago, has also returned

PS: This may seem to be a pointless post but huh..who cares…i wanted to write about dard-e-ghutna just as I write about dard-e-dil, …back….head….stomach.. etc. :)
