Running…..

Filed under: Food for Thought

We all r RUNNING!

Some say we r running after wealth while others say after love but if we start seeing it this way then there r numerous things in this world that different individuals may be striving for……

Also some people may be scampering just aimlessly

However, I feel the common thing that we all run after is "Peace of Mind"……and anything that seems to bring it :)

    Peace of mind … Actually peace isn’t something that exists. Just like heat exists, but cold does not. Cold is just the lack of heat. Peace is probably the lack of chaos.

    So that would mean people are running from chaos. (Note that chaos isn’t always a bad thing. We wouldn’t exist without it). People like stability and tend to fear change. (Heck they tend to fear anything unknown).

    Personally, I just wish I’d be able to make a difference somehow. No clear cut aim in life. Will probably establish world peace. After having conquered the world that is.

    True..but don’t u think people fear chaos, change because they fear it would snatch away their peace of mind from them….don’t u think they fear to be in a stressful situation actually??

    May Allah(SWT) give u the courage and strength to establish world peace but through conquering world??? Wudn’t u have to disturb world peace a lot if u get out to conquer it….try conquering people’s hearts instead :)

    @Jehanzaib

    Welcome to my blog Jehanzaib..though if i’m not wrong u have been here before as well but neway welcome again……Jehanzaib that’s what I have tried to say….for others and perhaps for ur owself as well u r running aimlessly but since u have got peace of mind MashAllah this way…so u wud probably want to continue running the same way. If God Forbid…u start losing ur peace…wudn’t u get up to change something in ur life so that u can get ur ‘Peace of Mind’ back again?

    @Lubz

    Hai na hai na hai na…dekho na sweetest pari no one understands what ur sweet pari tries to say :(

  5. Whatever objectives we have; I know just one thing which you rightly said as well that “we are running”. We have to; because it’s not morning walk, it’s racing! We have to race to outperform others.. That’s what I do.

  6. You are indeed right that we are running. Life seems to have become a never ending race. I dont know what it is exactly that people are running after. Maybe a little more money, a bigger house, a better job position, a better car….etc. However end of the day no one sits down and wonder whether whatever it is they are running for is the last thing on their list. Once they get this little thing fixed then is that the end ??? I guess not…..there will always be another better thing to run after. The list of wants is endless….!!! I wish people could maybe redo this list and set their priorities straight……a bit more time to sit down and pray, a bit more time to read the Quran, a bit more time for family, a bit more time for real friends……..I believe there is more to gain in the second list rather than the first one. However it is still just my point of view and everyone may not agree. Nice blog :)

  9. Most people do not seem to aim towards the last one, because it can be achieved by stopping running after anything at all.

    Peace and happiness have to be found within oneself.
