Everything reminds me of it!
How can I forget what I don’t want to forget? How can I even forget when every other thing reminds me of it……the fragrance of a perfume, the scent of a hand lotion I use, rain, music everything reminds me of it. When someone utters kind words, tries to help me out or when I get hurt…that reminds me of it too…and yet I think I would be able to forget it…..would these remembrances fade away with the passage of time or would they remain alive in my memory always?
Update: Emailing, instant messaging, short messaging, orkuting and even googling reminds me of it as well….weird…am i?
PS: and U would be thinking what this pointless post is all about…nothing
….just wanted to take my mind off a few things. Btw has anyone ever experienced forgetting what one doesn’t want to forget?

Forgetting what one doesn’t want to forget … heh, now that’s twisted.
I believe this is very subjective. You may wish to forget a bad memory, or maybe a distracting one. But the way I see it, that’s hiding a problem rather than solving it. A better solution would be cool detached analysis, which tends to make things much easier to handle and control. Personally I’d love to have a perfect memory.
But that’s just me

I think it is relatively easier to forget what one does not want to forget then to forget what one can’t forget.
and it happens to me a lot, why?, well i have a permanent habit to delay my tasks till eleventh hour, so at the eleventh hour, i used to rush towards the completion of tasks, as a result of which , some minor ‘to dos’ successfully escape out of my mind
.
speaking of “can’t forget”, well , simply i cant
. There are lots of bits and pieces of memories both good and bad, that i can’t kick out of my mind.
btw, you have a nice header image, where did u get it? i think its fractal or some variant of mandlebort

heheh I tried and I did it!
I went up the hills and i imagined putting up my memories in a big sack and imagined throwing the sack down the hill.
I came down and tomy surprise those things never hurted me! I dun even remember them now.

I’d say that we should never forget anything good that anyone might have done for us, even if we might forget about something bad that might have been done to us.

neither keeping things is in our hands nor the forgetting … we just dont let things loosen up - saving in our sub-conscious. Worst … they hit right on the spot when we want to run away from them … with me this devious circle remains so forever … !
Things can be weird … but they are meant to be …!
wishing best !

@Waqas
***twisted*** yes it is because there r memories that tend to be disturbing yet u treasure them and that is where u ask urself “Shouldn’t it be better if i get rid of them so that they no longer haunt my mid but then do i really want to get rid of them?”
@Faraz
hmmm..nice point…perhaps this is something that i can forget if the things around me don’t remind me of it
The header image is from Sanbase…..it’s a painting that i’ve put up as a header
. U can find a link to Sanbase’s site right at the bottom of my blog
@Unaiza
I wish i cud do that…..someday
@Sidhusaaheb
